Thanks for the Dance Hoda and Kathie Lee!
I clicked on the Today Show this morning to find Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotb dancing in their seats. Hode was having such a good time I had to join in. I can seat dance. No, really. I seem to have rhythm from my bum up, the legs and feet, not so much. My parents were good dancers. My daughter and son-in-law are phenomenal, born with lyrical soul. I remember the horror of discovering my lead feet during a party in seventh grade. It was such a disappointment. I felt the music down to my toes, but somewhere along the way, it got lost in translation. As everyone else was swinging and gyrating to the vibrations, I found myself slowly backing up, praying I'd blend into the darkness of the nearest corner. Laughing, I wish I knew then what I know now. It's not the quality of your dance, but the quantity of joy you derive from your own beat. Thanks for the shimmy and sway Hoda and Kathie Lee!
