Let's face it, most of us have at least ten minutes to spare; we use up more time opining our lack of it. And think of the hours we spend mindlessly on our devices. My Googling alone takes up more concentration than I'm willing to admit. In ten minutes, or less, we can take out the trash, empty the dish washer, take a brisk mini-walk, write a thank you note, return a phone call, make a doctor's appointment, finish this blog...you get the idea.
We can apply this same principal to tackling, say a knitting project (Maggie Mae), or that junk drawer you've been meaning to clean out. There are days when writing is particularly daunting; when just getting myself to sit seems improbable. But, ten is better than none. Ten is manageable. Ten is over in a blink. Ding!
