Roasted Brussel Sprouts

These roasted brussel sprouts are a side dish my family and guests request the most!

OVEN ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS

1 1/2 pounds Brussel sprouts
3 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

I like to leave the smaller little gems whole, but the larger sprouts I cut in half. Topple the Brussel sprouts onto a baking sheet. Pour over olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper and get in there with a cooks best tool, your hands and coat those little babies. Roast in a 400 degree oven until golden brown and crispy on the edges about 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven. I like to shake the pan halfway through, just so they roast evenly. You can add chopped pistachios at the end or a drizzle of good quality balsamic vinegar.
