Driving to the mall with grand baby seemed like a splendid idea. We'd have lunch in the food court, do some window shopping and home in time for his nap.
I took the stroller from the trunk of the car, unfolding it without a bit of trouble, until I realized the right tassel of my top was caught in the side joint of the stroller.
Standing next to the car, the trunk open, baby in the car seat, unable to move right or left, my head bowed inches from the stroller, I try to release the latch, but I can't negotiate the distance. I try ripping the tassel as I babble incoherently to grandson, acting like everything is perfectly normal, except Gaga is stuck ito the stroller.
This the most ridiculous predicament. And why would I leave such a death trap swinging from my neck? Pulling hard the tassel suddenly slips free. Woah. OK. That was scary.
Moral to the story, don't leave anything hanging when you are unfolding a stroller.
