Let’s segue back...

...to Monday’s post. Making Good Choices!

I was chatting with some friends about what most women our age talk about, weight and “Wait, what was I saying?” That tip-of-the-tongue forgetfulness. I’m not a specialist on any of these subjects, but I know what I know, you know?

Health is everything. EVERYTHING!!! We should all make good choices for our health everyday. When you think about your future self it will motivate you to keep it up.

Whether it’s walking, biking, swimming, yoga, Pilates. Even fifteen minutes, even when you are bone tired and your feet are dragging. There are days when I’m walking, not as briskly as I should and I feel like I’m not going to make it. I might have to just lay down on the sidewalk. People can walk around me. But, I keep at it. It’s a mindset you have to practice over and over until it becomes second nature. There are times when I pass the bakery counter and that glistening glazed donut is calling my name. And there are times I don’t care at all to exercise.

But, really what’s life without some delishness? We are all allowed that occasional treat. At least that’s how I roll. But for the sake of your future self move your little body, put food that will do you good into it. And like Nike says, “Just do it!”
