As an aside, a friend recently commented about blogging. "I can't read someones blogs everyday, it's way too much information." And that, my two followers is often what holds me back. If I were Barbra Streisand or say, Sarah Jessica Parker it would not be an issue. What I ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner would be a whole lot more interesting. Dealing with wrinkles or finding jeans that fit, much more intriguing.
With that being said, here's a bit of catching up for you loyal few!
My husband's first Father's Day celebration as Papa went swimmingly well. The only thing that could have made it more perfect would have been our proximity to Milo. For now, FaceTime will just have to do.
Husband enjoyed a day of sunning, reading and relaxation. The only interruption was a call from his mother alerting us that the assisted living side of her residence (she lives in the independent living side) is on "High Flu Alert," and she was quite upset that all staff was not assisting with the lock down. She told me she needed to tell us so we would not be caught off guard when they hauled her off to the hospital. I assured her, as we had just seen her Saturday evening for dinner, that she was fine.
I was trying to enjoy our first weekend home in a while without any angst. As in not worrying about my sister's mammography on Friday. She told me it went well, but of course I know the films have to be read. It is now 7:00 pm on Monday and I haven't received any hysterical calls, so I'm going to go with, "No news is good news." Poo, poo, poo.
