So true, for me at least. Although I beg to differ that it may be viewed as negative. And I think Maggie Mae would back me up on this. Why is hyper preparation a fault? Can we help it if we are ahead of the curve? You won't find me out of toilet paper, paper towels or bars of soap (of course there was that one underwear debacle in Maine).
Which brings me to my seemingly relentless obsession with BPA (Bisphenol A). If I can share a tip or two then I find it my sworn duty to do so. I have already blogged about plastics with BPA, numbers to look for, etcetera, etcetera. And I have almost completely stopped buying canned food items for fear of BPA in the lining.
Well, lo and behold there on the shelves of Whole Foods were cannellini beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, a whole slew of beans, all with the label "BPA FREE Lining." So, not to worry, you are all free to buy beans, from Eden Organic.*
