Hellooo...I'm back.
So much to share, so little time.
Milo is adorable, adorable, adorable!
Mother-in-law was thrilled to see her great grandson, although rather nervous about holding him on her lap. Daughter stood by for support. She was otherwise content to stare at his baby blues during dinner, in between her narcoleptic episodes; often nodding off mid thought.
All my advance preparation seemed to pay off as I had time to hug, squeeze and love baby Milo. Although, really it's never enough and it all goes too fast. Mornings with him in bed...delicious!
In a blink, daughter, son-in-law and baby are back in NYC.
A beautiful center piece of white blooms still sits as a reminder on the dining room table; sent from very thoughtful friends for Rosh Hashana dinner.
Milo's accoutrement's are washed and ready for his next visit.
There are happy reminders about the house. His bouncy seat in one corner and when I open the door to his room, I can smell his sweet baby scent lingering about.
Driving on an errand this morning I looked in my rear view mirror to see Milo's mirror attached to the middle seat, all alone. Sigh.
