Monday Morning

I grabbed my grocery bags and jauntily bounced my way to the front doors of the market yesterday morning. Energized to begin my Thanksgiving shopping, I was humming a tune in my head when I heard a sloshing sound emanating from my pocketbook. I looked down, horrified to see my bottle of water turned upside down, my wallet, keys, pens, notebook and bottle cap floating on the bottom.

I ran back to the car, threw all the contents onto the back seat, shook the pool of water from my bag, cursed the empty bottle and wiped down what I could with my teeny tiny package of travel tissues.

Other than my auspicious start I managed to bake two pumpkin loaves and a pecan pie.
