Catching Up...

I know this sounds very similar to a weekly update, (which I said I would no longer post), so it's not. I had high hopes I would find the time to blog while my daughter and Milo were visiting.  But that baby is too irresistible to miss one precious moment; too entertaining to even think of writing.

My brother had his surgery the day before they arrived so my daughter's support was of great comfort.

The good news is they removed the mass and his lymph nodes are clear. He may need chemo, but he'll know more after his doctor's appointment. Now he's grappling with his new reality while I try to be a good sounding board.

It's not like the movies. Music doesn't crescendo in the background as we forgive each other for our judgements and misunderstandings. It's digging deep to be there for the one you may not understand, but love anyway.

Trying to find the humor in all this is not easy.  I just want my brother to be healthy, so I can go back to being annoyed at him every now and then (and I mean this in the most loving way)!
