Please tell me this has happened to you. I got out of the car the other morning and as I walked to our local Starbucks a wind whipped up and as I looked down I realized I forgot to put my bra on. It's like that dream where you show up for a party in bare feet.
The fabric of my dress was somewhat clingy and with the wind, well, you get my drift. So I skipped the coffee and headed to the grocers where I had planned on buying a donut before the start of Passover.
I always get a craving for something I don't normally eat, yet am prohibited from eating during the holiday (I think my last donut was in 2011. One year all I could think about was a chili dog). Anyway, it was freezing in there and I looked ridiculous holding my pocketbook up in front of me, so I decided this was an ill fated plan and I drove home, empty handed.
I am still baffled over my bra debacle. I can't blame it on excessive shopping and cooking for Seder, because due to our move and my sheer exhaustion we were invited to friends last night and I am having a small Seder here this evening.
I did finally eat that donut at the local bakery Monday morning...and I had my bra on too!
