More Odds & Ends

It has finally hit me that my children are close, very close.  I can just hop in my car anytime I want and drive over.  I won't, though.  I'm not going to be that mother-in-law who just drops by, unannounced.  No sireee!  However, the idea that I can has settled in nicely!

Mother-in-law is no longer playing cards.  It's the end of an era.  She has played cards forever, but as her eyesight fails she can barely see and the worst of it is, she found out her card lady friends (and I use that word loosely), have been playing without her.  I guess people can be rude and thoughtless, no matter the age.

I am still wearing my lovely brace.  The doctor said it is most likely a fracture that did not show up on the x-ray.  But there is no point in having an MRI since the treatment would be the same.  When I look at the brace on my arm it reminds of two things, I am a klutz and that I am fortunate to have experienced such extreme happiness and joy which brought me to dance, in spite of my spill.
