Phone calls to Mother-in-law are becoming challenging, to say the least. There's lots of yelling, from my end, as her hearing gets worse. And with daily chats it is difficult to think of something new to talk about. This morning I told her about Milo's swim lessons and she replied, "What, it's his birthday?"
Sigh. "No Mom, swimming. Milo is taking baby swim lessons." Ten seconds of silence was followed with, "They're teaching him to dive?"
Oy. "Not diving, swimming, survival swimming." She thought for a moment. "I can't believe Milo is going to dive."
Never mind.

What Milo is doing! |

Learning to swim under water. |

And swim to the side of the pool! |
