What's Been Going On...

Between the Jewish holidays there's been a tremendous amount of eating, praying, eating, not eating, repenting and eating.  The best part is lots of family time. Baby grandson is growing by leaps and bounds.  He graduated baby swim class and is steadily increasing his vocabulary daily.  Besides the usual Mommy, Dada, he calls himself Gilo (so sweet), calls me Ga, says Papa, does a beautiful "hello," calls out for Bob, (we don't know who Bob is), "uh-oh" is a big one, with the accompanying hand motions.

Oh, Mother-in-law, Gotta Love Her,

Purchased Mother-in-law a five headed lamp, looks like an alien life force.  You can move around the heads in all sorts of different directions. A card buddy of hers swears reading is so much easier with it. Husband put it together, all three thousand parts, we lugged it to her apartment, rearranged her furniture so it would fit behind her lounge chair and every time I ask if it's helping she says, "I don't know, I keep forgetting to turn it on."

Sister

Many of you are kind enough to ask about my sister and as she likes to say, "I was never this busy at the big house!"  This reference is our old home in Virginia and not the slammer!

Anyway, with her permission I would like to share with you what my sister wrote about her attire for a memorial ceremony she attended this September 11.  We could all learn a lesson from her enthusiastically unencumbered patriotism.

"I have picked out the clothes for today. Long black fuzzy (fancy) pants, a fancy black and white short sleeve shirt and a long pink sleeve shirt to use as a jacket. Pink socks and sneakers.  Also a long blue and red scarf with the U.S. Presidents to wear for the memorial today 9-11.  Love, Your sister"
