I erroneously wrote when referring to BPA's in plastic that number 1 is to be avoided. That is incorrect. I should have investigated more thoroughly than to take the word of a stranger. My apologies. Safer plastics are coded 1, 2, 4 and 5. Avoid 3, 6 and 7.
I stand corrected.
