Update...Me Oh My!

Sister

I've had to change my routine as of late.  By the time I've let workmen in, chatty workmen, I might add, completed my round of check-in calls, it's almost lunch and I've not completed a stitch of writing.  I'm so overwhelmed some days I could just punch someone. 

I found out Sunday that Sister has a cold.  I told her to drink lots, to which she replied, at 8:20 in the morning, "I am.  I just had a ginger beer."  I thought for a moment, and just for clarification I asked, "Are you drinking soda?"  To which she said, "No, it's light beer."

Cheering Up

I've got my game face on for Brother and Mother-in-law.  When they are down, I'm up.  I'm the resident cheer leader, on call, 24-7.  I woke to a text this morning for some positive affirmations. I'm going to need some new material...

House Front

Work has finally begun on the laundry room and remaining bathroom...and then we are finished with renovations...more on that later.  In the meantime, before pictures below!
