Well, there was no ringing of the door bell, or phone, or text, so by eight a.m., I decided to take the bull by the horn, throw caution to the wind, tie up my laces and walk. As in outside, in the sunshine, among the birds, the bees and the trees. And people! I passed lots and lots of people. On foot and bike. And the weather had changed, every so slightly, to a cooler breeze, instead of the humid wallop of August highs. Oh, how I have missed my morning walks.
It may sound like an old cliché, but living in each moment really does put a spring in your step. The subs arrived the minute I returned...all was well...and almost done! Today was a good day, a very good day, indeed.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
