I Owe You...

...an update and a bit of babbling!

So tackling this is akin to running into someone you haven't seen in a long time, who asks "What have you been up to?" I stare like a deer in headlights, my mind is blank. Lets face it, the more hectic our days are, the harder it is to streamline that answer, so here with are the highlights.

Baby Oh Baby!

Both boys, (oh, how I love saying that!), are doing tremendously well. Milo is a wonderfully loving big brother. Baby Leo is a good sleeper and mommy is sounding pretty chipper for having just given birth a little over a month ago. Now, I'm sure she has her moments, but I am impressed with her ability to get back into a routine, with two little ones so effortlessly.

Brother

Is doing well. Very well. If there is one thing I wish I could do for him, besides a cure, is to give him a pill that would erase the burden he carries. It breaks my heart. This will be the last time I will write about him for a while, as this is his story to tell.

The Writer

After a month's hiatus I am back to my daily work. It's amazing how many details I can remember. I hope my memory is as sharp as I think it is. Too many days I find myself in the pantry or bedroom and wonder "why did I come in here?"

I do have a theory on this momentary confusion. It's not menopausal fog or middle age. Nope, it's because I have so much on my mind. Life gets more complicated the older we get. Why, between convincing my sister she does not have the power to fix the Internet globally and buying underwear for Mother-in-law, it's a wonder I can keep anything straight.

Our House

Some of you have asked where we are in the home renovation process! I say this meekly and with the utmost respect for the powers that be, puh, puh, puh, but I am pretty sure we are done. There are four windows that need replacing, but, in the scheme of things that's pretty darn good. We are assured this window replacement will be from the outside, not in. No more mess in the house.
