These are two easy hors d'oeuvres I've relied on when there's no time for any cooking or baking. I make no apologies for its simplicity, after all, that's exactly what one needs this time of year, and all this requires is minimal fiddling.
STUFFED MEDJOOL DATES
pitted medjool dates
smoked almonds
Stuff almonds into dates! Done!
BOURSIN CHEESE AND BELGIAN ENDIVE
container of Boursin cheese
endive leaves, separated and cleaned
Place leaves on a serving plate and scoop a tablespoon of Boursin cheese
onto each leaf. You may do this ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Done and done!
