There have been dragons to slay and demons to contend with and I have questioned my resolve more times than I care to remember. But, somehow I have gathered the strength I need to move on and embrace my life, without apology. It helps to be surrounded by a family that you love and who loves you back, unconditionally. And that you know you matter to, no matter what.
And so here we are, my husband and I, full of love and infinite joy, surrounding our daughter, an angelic and bewitching bride, a vision, even with tears lightly falling, ever so delicately down her cheeks. The music starts, the doors swing open wide and there is no preparation, no amount of imagination to prepare you for this very moment in time.
