One of my husband's favorite movies is "Groundhog Day." The idea that you can have a do-over, day after day, until you get it right seems to appeal to his quirky sensibilities. It is also his favorite holiday. If he could have it his way, celebrating the arrival of Punxsatawney Phil would be a national holiday. All government agencies would be closed, an exchange of cards would become tradition and marching bands would parade through every village and town across the land. Without fail he sends our children e-cards, celebrating the occasion. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he greeted everyone at work with a "Happy Groundhog Day" salutation. I draw the line at Phil bringing gifts to all the good little girls and boys...
