Gratitude

Sunday was my daughter's first Mother's Day and mine as a grandmama.  I am totally enraptured by  beautiful grandbaby Milo, and the ease with which my daughter has taken to motherhood.

I am not surprised; she has always been an old soul, her instinct for mothering a part of her.  The way she envelopes her little one with love, calm and humor is a joy to behold and it is no wonder he is such a happy little fellow. 

I am overwhelmed and grateful.  They are a happy and healthy family of three, the best gift of all.
