Writing two hours each day I no longer feel the pangs and guilt of procrastination. This discipline frees me to enjoy reading a magazine, book, or meeting a friend for a cup of coffee with a clear conscience.
Today I read the entire August issue of Harper's Bazaar from cover to cover. I learned that Michael Kors has two cats, drinks lots of ice tea and can only sleep on white sheets. Rita Wilson washes her hair once a week. Who knew? And there were articles about fancy pants people I am totally clueless about and products I am supposed to covet, but don't. I'm just not that cool.
I moved on to Eating Well magazine. I learned that drinking 4 cups of green tea can lower your risk of sunburn and increase skin density and elasticity (I'm all for that). And BPA (I blogged about this one in 2009, Plastic Footprints) is even in cash register receipts (so wash after handling).
The down side of all this is that I am not leaving the house much, which means the odds of having anything to reflect on is almost non-existent, unless something exciting gets phoned in! Hello!!!
