I'm a paradox, happy for the most part, yet somehow always on the verge of panic; an emergency lurks behind every corner. Daughter and Maggie Mae know what I mean.
And since Mother-in-law has been in the hospital, (an intolerance to a new prescription), I can't very well ignore a ringing phone.
Mother-in-law is going home today, healthy and well.
I should write outside of the house, where the only possible interruptions would be my cell, which I promise to put on silent. Although, we all know what a "chat" magnet I am in public, even when I try to be as unfriendly as possible.
I guess my only choice is to be more disagreeable, or perhaps write in the solitude of a closet!
