Weekly Update

Surprises on the Horizon, I Hope

To quote my daughter, "I think in blog." Bizarre, I know, but once you've blogged, anything and everything becomes fair game.

With that being said, I have some surprises in store in the not too distant future that I cannot wait to share. The superstitious side of me wants to take that back, but what the hey, I'll throw caution to the wind.

Daily Writing

This morning I was practically weeping, the word, "rug" was driving me insane. How many ways can you say, "rug," I beg of you? Carpet, floor covering, mat, shag, throw rug?  Sometimes a thesaurus is absolutely of no help at all.

I read a few pages of my book to husband, daughter and son-in-law while in NYC.  It was like standing naked in Times Square.  I read so fast they could barely understand me.  Apparently my confidence needs some work.

Relations

And then there is my brother. I really don't want to go there, but blogging can be therapeutic. Let me just say my brother called about a health issue that scared the living daylights out of me and ultimately ignored my advice. I am sad to say I have all but given up. Blood is not always thicker than water. Discuss amongst yourselves.
