On the Home Front
Went looking for appliances for the new house. We have to renovate almost the entire kitchen. The seller is renting back from us for a month, so there's no immediate rush. When the salesman told me the prices for the fridge, ovens, etc. you could have knocked me over with a feather.
Writing
Going well. Except for a couple days of cheating. I admit once again to picking up my cell when my children's faces light up the screen. I have a bad habit of panicking into emergency mode.
Writing, as always takes me back and I was thinking about my childhood friend and her family. Wondering, no hoping her parents were still living. Her father was a very nice man (he made us pancakes in the morning after sleepovers). I googled him and lo and behold he's alive and well.
He's even published a book and appeared in a movie. He's a couple years older than my father would have been and I found myself staring at his face, smiling happily with relief.
Ouch!
I pulled a muscle in my back as I rushed though my morning weight lifting routine yesterday. One should never rush. Now, I can only turn to my right. This should be interesting.
