An Odd Morning!

This is how my morning began.

My daily call to Mother-in-law consisted of:  "I can't believe there is nothing anyone can do for my eyesight or hearing. I may as well not live anymore.  Ok, I have to go and make calls for my card game."  

I then called my sister to share some sad news about an uncle who passed away this week.  She listened intently and then explained, "My friend Doris had a sister who just died, she was very old.  Doris had a card that says, 'Happy Birthday For My Sister', which Doris didn't use, because her sister was dead, so she gave it to me, to use for someone, but I'm not telling who."  Oy.
