Infomercials at Five AM...

Sometimes, when I can't sleep, I watch infomercials.  Now that gravity is having its way with me I pay more attention to the moisturizers that claim to "lift and firm the appearance of (insert any facial feature you choose)." Hmmmm...?  The operative word ladies, is appearance.

I once worked for an advertising agency, writing copy for a cosmetic company. Since there is no cream, lotion or potion, that can truly change the affects of aging, besides an injection, laser or knife, companies have to skirt the absolute truth with words like, appearance, reduces the look, visibly...you get my point. And then they throw in adjectives like revitalizing, multi-action, glowing and radiant.

I know the truth and as much as I hate to admit it, (because I fervently believe it's what's on the inside that counts) I want to be revitalized, glowing and lifted, all from a jar.

I have accumulated a nice little arsenal of promises and decided to apply them together this morning.  Anxiously awaiting, to see what magic happens.
