So, it seems I should be paying attention to my own blog, "Waxing Philosophical," (May 27). I'm almost afraid to put this out into the universe, but I may have the ability to predict the future.
I had a fender bender in a parking lot Friday afternoon. I kid you not. The sound of metal hitting metal, even at slow speed made it real enough. Of course, the important thing is no one was hurt. No one was ticketed. There's a bit of damage to the rear. And just when we are about to purchase a new car. But, let's keep it all in perspective..I may have magical powers.
Anyway, I can't say I love driving right now. But, I do appreciate this "tap on the shoulder." When I get my new car I may just leave it in the garage and admire it. My confidence is shaken and I wonder, maybe a chauffeur might be in order?!
