It Must Be Boxing!!!

Husband had a check-up with our local neurologist yesterday. The usual routine of blood pressure and heart rate were better than normal and then began the neuro exam.

I watched as Husband tapped each of his fingers onto his thumb, first his right hand, which has no tremor, then his left. Amazingly his left hand performed as well as his right, a far cry from his difficulties just months before.

Although nothing, so far, has diminished the occurrence of his hand tremors, this was progress! The doctor looked pleasantly surprised as he rolled back on his chair, stroking his chin. I was so delighted at what I considered a monumental break through, I blurted out, "It must be the boxing!" He smiled and nodded in agreement. "We are hearing good things."

It's about time!
